Anant is the youngest son of Asia’s richest man, Mukesh Ambani, who has an estimated fortune of $117 billion, according to Forbes. The 28-year-old serves as a director at an energy business operated by Reliance, the Indian conglomerate founded by his grandfather.
He is to marry Radhika Merchant, 29, the daughter of a well-known business family who run Encore Healthcare, a large Indian pharmaceutical firm. Merchant, who is an Indian classical dancer now sits on the board of Encore.
Even though Ambani and his 29-year-old childhood sweetheart are not due to marry until July, no expense was spared at the lavish pre-wedding bash.

Guests were served 500 dishes created by around 100 chefs. The city’s airport, which typically handles fewer than 10 flights a day, even reported around 130 flights had arrived for the extravaganza.
A new Hindu temple complex is being built specifically for the wedding and will later be opened to the public.
In 2018, Mukesh Ambani also hosted his daughter Isha’s lavish wedding, which was considered the most expensive in the country’s history.
The extravagant event featured a performance by Beyoncé and guests enjoyed receptions in Lake Como, Italy, as well as Mumbai and Rajasthan. The estimated cost of the wedding was nearly $100 million.
